[VIDEO] Will Ferrell announces starting lineups for Bulls, Hornets
The announcement of the starting lineups at an NBA game is typically filled with receptiveness and hype, but actor Will Ferrell added some of his trademark absurdity to the mix during the pre-game announcements at Wednesday’s game between the New Orleans Hornets and the Chicago Bulls.
Ferrell was in New Orleans filming the movie “Dog Fight,” in which he plays a local politician battling with actor Zach Galifianakis for a congressional seat. After seeing Ferrell courtside at several recent games, the Hornets invited Ferrell to announce the starting lineups. In addition to giving the players’ heights and positions, Ferrell added a little personal tidbit about each player, which of course was completely made up.
